CLASSIFICATIONS: E101T1-K3C, K3M per AWS A5.29, ASME SFA 5.29

Select 101-K3C and Select 101-K3M are superb choices for those applications requiring 100 Ksi minimum tensile strength and good CVN toughness. These electrodes are intended for single and multiple pass, all position welding of low alloy steels.

APPLICATIONS: Select 101-K3C and Select 101-K3M are intended for those weldments requiring 100 Ksi tensile strength and good subzero toughness. They are ideal for all position welding of steels such as HY-80, HY-100 and ASTM 514. These materials can be found in shipbuilding, offshore structures and crane fabrication.

SHIELDING GAS: Select 101-K3C (100% CO2), Select 101-K3M (75-80% Ar/balance CO2), 35-50 cfh

WELDING POSITIONS: All positions

CHARACTERISTICS:
